"Jubilee" is based on the Sentinel industrial diesels built in the nineteen sixties and seventies, they were built to a stylish modern streamlined design were to be found in most rail connected industries. Examples worked in mining, steel works, cement, china clay, docks etc, and some were exported to Europe.

 At that time Sentinels were owned by a division of Rolls Royce who not only provided the diesel engines for these locomotives but also went on to build similar locomotives under their own name.
