The Burrell range of Traction Engines are widespread
and popular in preservation with many examples appearing at Steam
Rallies up and down the country throughout the season.
Maxitrak have chosen the Burrell, built in 1914,
as being typical of the best of British Traction Engine design. There
are three variations of the engine available, being the Agricultural,
Road, and the Showman, each having the option of being fired by gas
or coal.
All
models are authentic in every detail available in Ready to Run format,
or as a fully machined painted or un-painted kit. They are all fully
equipped with safety valve, pressure gauge, regulator, and reversing
lever. The boiler is copper silver soldered and complete with test
certificate.
Kits
are available in stages in quantities from 2 to 12, to suit builders
wishing to spread the work or budget over longer periods. Full details
